Sometimes H.O.P.E. is born from the very place that once broke your heart.

As the mother of one son, Founder and President Deatrice F. Bell experienced the deep pain that can come when a child you love chooses a path you cannot control. Her love for her son became so consuming that the pain began affecting other areas of her life, including her marriage, her peace, and her sense of hope.

During one of the darkest seasons of her life, Deatrice reached a place of profound despair. Yet, in the midst of that darkness, God intervened.

What began as heartbreak eventually became a lesson in surrender. Deatrice learned that loving a child does not mean carrying what only God can carry. She had to release her son into God's hands, trust God with his life, and begin allowing God to restore her own.

That journey planted the seed for H.O.P.E.

There are parents who quietly cry over their children. There are marriages suffering because so much attention has been given to a family crisis that the husband and wife have stopped caring for their own relationship. There are parents blaming themselves, wondering where they went wrong. Others are exhausted from trying to rescue, control, fix, or protect someone they love.

H.O.P.E. exists for families walking through those difficult seasons—and for families who simply want to become stronger before a crisis comes.

Our purpose is not to condemn families for where they are. Our purpose is to provide education, encouragement, support, practical resources, and faith-centered guidance that can help families move toward healthier relationships and renewed hope.
